Emergency Humanitarian Support: The LS Foundation assists marginalized and disadvantaged individuals and communities affected by natural and man-made disasters, such as floods, earthquakes, and fire accidents. The project aims to mitigate their difficulties, worries, and problems by providing emergency relief and recovery support. Activities include rapid response, emergency financial aid, psychological support, and impact assessment. Rapid response involves collaborating with local government agencies, NGOs, and other relief organizations and campaigning via social media to collect donations. Emergency relief provides emergency financial aid and relief supplies, such as food, drinking water, shelter, and medical aid. Psychological support involves counseling services, support groups, and other mental health services. Impact assessment helps identify areas of improvement and make necessary adjustments to achieve its objectives.

Digital Community Health Service:LS Well-being Foundation provides comprehensive, integrated, and responsive mental and physical health care services in community-based settings to the marginalized community and builds awareness to reduce their stigma. The foundation aims to serve 2500 unions out of 4500 unions within the next 30 years with the ‘Digital Health Center’ and reach 20 million underprivileged and maltreated populations annually. Our goal is to make healthcare more accessible and ensure that individuals receive the quality care they deserve.

Zakat: Zakat, or almsgiving to the poor and needy, is an integral part of and one of the five pillars of Islam. Zakat is derived from the root word “zaka“, which means “increase and purification”, signifying that the giving of zakat “purifies” and also “increases” existing wealth

Orphan Sponsorship: Bangladesh is home to many orphans growing up in orphanages or relatives’ homes with various neglect. The lack of education, treatment, and food for these children is nothing new. Your small donation can help meet the basic needs of a child. Through us, you can support financially poor, orphaned, and underprivileged children by taking up the responsibility of keeping the child.

Awareness Campaigning Program: The LS Well-being Foundation aims to address social issues such as sex trafficking, childhood abuse, and the sexual objectification of women in Bangladesh. These issues have severe consequences for the well-being and rights of individuals, particularly women and children. To raise awareness of the causes, consequences, and prevention of sex trafficking, childhood abuse, and sexual objectification of women among the general public and vulnerable groups in Bangladesh, and to mobilize them to take action against these social issues

Flood Assistance: It is essential to have a well-coordinated team of trained professionals and volunteers during floods to provide expert assistance. Therefore, we will send human resources to specific areas to help flood-affected peoples. In addition, flood relief personnel will transport flood victims to safe places.

Assuring Female Education: Female education is an essential aspect of reducing inequality and empowering women. Education not only benefits the women themselves but has a positive impact on their families, communities, and the economy. Therefore, we will encourage and provide financial aid to poor meritorious female students to study and help them.

Suicide Prevention Program: Suicide is a silent and deadly threat to society, with over 700 000 people dying due to it every year. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Bangladesh has one of the highest suicide rates in the world, with an estimated 6,000 suicides per year. Common factors that lead to suicide include academic pressure, mental health stigma, lack of resources, cyberbullying, emotional trauma, conflict in love affairs, family disputes, mental disorders, economic hardship, abuse, and sexual assault. The Foundation for Suicide Prevention aims to build resilience, coping skills, and emotional intelligence among people by creating awareness, reducing stigma, improving access to mental health services, and providing training to volunteers & population on how to identify signs of suicidal behavior.

Research on mental health: Talking about mental health is still taboo for many, but the situation has changed in the current context and opportunities to work on this issue. These require sound research. Through research, we can learn about various mental problems and ensure good mental health. Your financial support will help us move this endeavor forward.
